I started Corridor Consulting to provide personalized, high-quality financial guidance that empowers businesses and individuals to take control of their finances, minimize tax liabilities, and achieve sustainable growth.

After years of honing my skills across various industries—from healthcare to public accounting—I saw a growing need for a firm that could seamlessly blend the strategic role of a CFO with practical day-to-day necessities like tax preparation, bookkeeping, and business management. A Journey of Expertise and Dedication
My journey in accounting began during my time at the University of Iowa, where I was admitted into the Honors Program and soon realized my passion for accounting and finance. After excelling in an Honors Financial Accounting course, I was encouraged to pursue the field by the Accounting Department Chair. Motivated by the high employment rates of graduates and the demand for accounting professionals, I was determined to succeed.
While at university, I had the opportunity to work with a student consulting firm, Launch Services, where I applied my classroom knowledge to real-world businesses. My role as Chief Technology Officer and Accounting Consultant allowed me to help businesses implement accounting systems and grow their operations. This hands-on experience ignited my passion for using accounting as a tool to help small businesses thrive.
Professional Growth and Leadership
At the end of my junior year in college, I took on a role as a Staff Accountant at one of Iowa’s largest private hospitals, working under experienced CPAs and overseeing financial operations for multiple clinic locations. There, I played a key role in process improvements and was selected for advanced training in Lean Six Sigma and the Iowa Quality Council. These experiences shaped my approach to problem-solving and leadership.
Following my success in the healthcare industry, I sought further expertise in public accounting. I worked at a small CPA firm specializing in tax planning and estate services for high-net-worth clients. This role gave me deep experience in complex tax law, return preparation, and strategic tax planning for businesses and individuals.

With a wealth of knowledge and experience under my belt, I founded Corridor Consulting with the vision of serving clients both locally and virtually. Our firm helps businesses and individuals achieve their financial goals, whether through comprehensive tax strategies, accounting services, or business consulting. Today, Corridor Consulting operates with the flexibility and expertise necessary to support clients in any stage of their financial journey.
